Cribby Goes 500k Downwind With 11 Guests

That’s right, Guy Cribb, who is well known for his long distance feats is setting off on another adventure today. To mark the occasion we caught up with him for a few quick words in the run up to their departure. You’ve already undertaken a few epic windsurfing feats, can you tell us the most memorable one so far and what made it stick in your mind so well?
Bournemouth to Brighton in 2008 ish- we had gusts of 55 knots and I was on a 6.2m! 26 of us started, only 3 of us finished. I never experienced cramps like it- it took everything out of us and we rolled into Brighton on mental energy alone! But the Channel Crossing was also very memorable largely because it raised a lot of money for a very special charity- the Ellen MacArthur Trust
