Grasshopper Porridge jumps into Waitrose
The Grasshopper girls are doing a great job pushing porridge pots into
the hands of the hungry. The (very) tasty organic porridge will be
launched nationwide in Waitrose in September.
Grasshopper Porridge was founded by two sisters (a windsurfer and a self
confessed spreadsheets geek) looking for a healthy snack to eat on the
go. The organic porridge comes in a one portion recyclable pot. You
can eat it anywhere because you don’t need milk, a microwave or a
saucepan, just add boiling water, stir and enjoy. It now seems that
you can buy it anywhere too, the nationwide Waitrose launch to 140
branches will add to an established list of 120 stockists in the UK.
Grasshopper porridge is really worth hopping down to the shops for,
choose from 3 flavours: cinnamon and raisin, coconut and date or
chocolate.
Available at your local Waitrose from September 15th.
