Young Irish windsurfer, Finn Mellon has secured his first sponsorship with GA Sails and local watersports shop Jamie Knox Watersports.

“This summer I spent my time in France and Tenerife where I competed in the PWA youth event in Cabezo, where I finished 6th overall. It was a brilliant experience for me getting to sail with the best in the world and then compete in the Youth event. Currently I am joint first in the BWA youth and planing to do the last event of the year in Cornwall, If we get proper waves at the event I will feel confident that I can do well as that’s my type of sailing! Living in Brandon Bay I very regularly get to sail some of Europe’s best waves, which hopefully come in handy in Cornwall!
