Chris ‘Muzza’ Murray has travelled over to America for another epic road trip, which starts off with the AWT event at Pistol River Bash presented by Naish. He dropped Boards this quick update after day one…
Great first day of the contest here at the AWT Pistol River Wave Bash, with loads of action! It’s full power windy with some decent chunky waves, brilliant moves being thrown down including some massive jumps, one footed backies and super big forwards from Levi. KP pulled off a sweet wave 360 in his heat.
The UK crew here at Pistol (i.e. me!) was drawn up against the current champion Nathan Reshan in my first heat and I sadly didn’t make it through, but Chris Freeman in the amateurs stormed his way to the final with a 2nd place finish. Chris is known as the fearless forward king, boshing them out all over the place! Great first day and bring on the double elimination, I want to get through one heat this trip hahah!
