NOSE OVER TOES
To coincide with the rig twist, it’s absolutely vital to flex that back leg, pull the tail in underneath you and duck your head low under the boom and towards the mast base.
Get your nose rolling forward, with the toes of your front foot behind you! The front leg should hang behind you for as long as possible to encourage the upper body forward and inboard. If the front foot comes up too soon you become heavier on the rig, this works in strong winds, but is a killer in lighter winds.
Enjoy, keep at it and crack that waterstart, you’ll never look back!
