Simmer sails and boards, Powerex masts and booms and the thickest Mystic wetsuits I’ve got 😀
What conditions are you hoping for?
I’d love to have it firing, so that the winner could be decided fair and square with 2 best waves and 2 best jumps to count ideally 🙂 But as always if we gonna have to wobble, I will wobble – did a bit of that last winter as well this year as we were really lucky with the swell. Still, strong port tack winds and head high waves would suit me best I think. Looking at the forecast it might be close to my perfect conditions actually! I’m excited as most competitions I’ve had so far on the BWA tour have been starboard tack.
How have you been preparing/training for the events?
I was out every windy minute of the season when I wasn’t working or healing injuries (unfortunitely I had quite a few again). I was pushing harder then ever now that the screws are out of my foot. We did have 7 weeks of no wind just now.. but I did my homework when the wind was still around earlier in the season. I also just got 2 lucky windy days here at Rhossy already to refresh on what I’ve learned and recall how the spot is. I feel quite good about my sailing at the moment as I can finally go bigger again and am excited to start the competition season and see how I’ll get on.
What are your strengths and weaknesses?
I am good in coming back from injuries.. and really bad in avoiding them haha.. Competition-wise I feel weirdly thorughoutly ready… if it’s port tack that is! haha..

Anyone in my next heat 😀
What position finish are you aiming for?
1st is always the one to aim for.. I’d love to defend my BWA Overall Titile, but comps can be tricky with wind from any direction and wind and waves of any force. Anything can happen, so I will just take it one heat at the time and try to do my best in whatever wheather is thrown at me this time around!
