Are you going?

Hell yes!

What fleet are you competing in?

Amateur.

What equipment are you taking?

Tabou Pocket 93 and Da Curve 86 powered by some Severne S1’s. One of the new Tabou SUPs and a surfboard.

What conditions are you hoping for?

Starboard tack 4.7 weather would be great as I’m a Wittering boy but both these are port tack locations; so we’ll have to see. Any waves and wind will be good!

How have you been preparing/training for the events?

Feels like I haven’t sailed for ages. So dreaming mostly!

What are your strengths and weaknesses?

Strengths: Persistance…

Weaknesses: Port tack backies!

Who’s your biggest rival?

Dan Macaulay, but he’s very elusive! Tom B-L has knocked me off the podium a few times. Niall Melon is a consistent ripper in Ireland and Emile Kott has been doing some serious training this winter and is nailing takas and shakas.

What position finish are you aiming for?

I cannot wait to get loads of water time. I just want to sail well, enjoy the competition and if I make the finals that’s a bonus.
