Albert Pijoan
Are you going?
I flew to the UK on MONDAY for a short warming up on the winter weather again, I think i will need it.
What fleet are you competing in?
I hope not in the ladies fleet.
What equipment are you taking?
I will fly with 86 80 73 starboard NUEVO. With Severne Blade sails 4.7 4.2 4.0 3.7 3.3 And surf board my little alround baby 5.10’x 19′.
What conditions are you hoping for?
I wish good conditions really don’t mind to use rig big or small, I feel ready for all.
How have you been preparing/training for the events?
I’ve been 5 months in Vietnam during the winter sailing quite a lot on onshore conditions and my biggest range. Now I spend 2 weeks back to Pozo sailing on 3.7 and 3.3 and good jumping. I’ve been SUPing on a race paddle working core and cardio, it’s an amazing work out as I’m trying to reduce the time inside the gym!
What are your strengths and weaknesses?
I would say my strength is the range of intensity I am used to sail. As a weakness my jumping on starboard tack, it’s not really in shape.
Who’s your biggest rival?
I do not have any real rival I would say that competing all of them they are rivals to beat. I am more worried about performing my best not about the others
What position are you aiming for?
After the last event in Cornwall doing a mistake of a truly beginner I am full committed to shake the top 5, less won’t fulfil me!
