We’re used to seeing a relatively small, but incredibly well formed fleet of BWA masters but all of the best riders turned out for the Cornish event, making it over 20 in one of the most competitive masters fleets to date.

Making it into the final was Dave White, along with locals Dave Ewer, Jan Sleigh and Justin Dennington. It was Dave Ewer that took the win ahead of Jen Sleigh in what was a superb final, with last year’s winner Justin Dennington taking third.

As with the amateurs, let’s hope that more and more of the talented master sailors chose to take on more of the tour in 2014!
