What fleet are you competing in?
Pro… although the masters is looking closer and closer 🙂 Actually is there a cripples fleet?
What equipment are you taking?
Everything… zimmer frame, walking stick, anti inflames! Plus some windsurfing gear: Black Tips, Icons, Quantum, Flywave and Frugal…Well you have to be prepared. Plus, I’m also taking a Sniady!
What conditions are you hoping for?
Don’t care but sun and a slight offshore breeze at Spilanes pub would get rid of the sea weed smell. That would be optimal for the outside pint!
How have you been preparing/training for the events?
Not very well… I mean I’ve been to some nice places: Australia and Maui, so I have a good tan, but I’ve been injured a lot of the time. First my back, which is still not right, and now my knee!! Just working on walking right now!
What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Talking… I’m still pretty good at that…
Bending down, walking, general moving around isn’t great.
Who’s your biggest rival?
Supermarkets as you can only buy a limited about of Ibuprofen … I need to get stocked up!
What position are you aiming for?
Downward dog.. that’s kind of the aim at the moment! Hopefully moving on to ‘Wheel pose’ – I’m aiming high!
