Boards and Boardseeker camera man Alfie Hart has been sailing hard in south Wales all winter. We wouldn’t be surprised if he took down a big name or two, here’s why:

What conditions are you hoping for?
In Rhosneigr easterly or northerly, wobble and ride would suit me – but I’ll take anything really.
How have you been preparing/training for the events?
Been an epic winter in the UK – west wales has had some great conditions and as well as sailing I’ve been working my woodland pretty hard.
What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Strengths: wave riding. Weakness: jumping
Who’s your biggest rival?
I don’t think Lewis Merrony will make it, so I’m just looking to cause an upset against one of the top sailors.
What position finish are you aiming for?
I’m just looking to enjoy my heat sailing as it’ll be a nice break from filming, which does hinder my chances slightly!
